Coastal Air Lines - formed in 1947 as a non-scheduled and supplemental carrier and known until July 1960 as Coastal Cargo Co. Inc. One Curtiss C-46 was operated at first, and two 049s then leased 1958 - 1959. The airline was awarded a 5-year operating certificate in June 1959. Two different 049s where then leased for passenger and cargo flights during 1961 - 1962. The company ceased operations in the latter year. On 16 November 1962 the company was re-established as Coastal Aviation Co. to operate Grumman Mallards.
