Service Airways - Incorporated in 1944 by Irvin Schindler and his wife Edith to operate charter flights with a Beechcraft from Andover NJ. However closed operations soon afterwards. In January 1948, the company was used as a cover for the purchase of aircraft for the Israeli Air Force, together with A. Schwimmer (LAPSA Panama, and Intercontinental Airways). Several L-049s and also C-46s were officially registered to Service Airways during 1948.
