Model 49-46-10 Constellation 43-10312

Delivered as C-69 43-10312 on 14 October 1944.  In service with TWA for a short period in spring/summer 1945. Back in service with USAF. Converted to L-049-46-49 for Capital Airlines as N67953 'Capitaliner Spirit of World Peace', FN753 on 13 September 1950.


N67953 seen at Washington National Airport on 4 April 1957, AAHS.

Flew in 56-seater configuration until withdrawn from use and stored at Washington National airport by August 1958.

Aircraft was dismantled at Viracopos (near Sao Paulo) in 1965 after suffering an engine failure and of other problems on a ferry flight as ZP-CAS for Lloyd Aereo Paraguayo on 27 January 1964.
