Model 49-46-10 Constellation 43-103315

This Constellation was built for USAAF and delivered 19 February 1945. Registered to A. Schwimmer late 1947 and registered NC90828. To RX-124 for Lineas Aereas de Panama SA. but never operated as such. Projected sales to Capital Airlines fell through and finally delivered to EL AL as 4X-AKB. Converted to Model 149 and referred to El Al as 249.

Sale to Switzerland as HB-IEB (registered 24 February 1959) but not taken up. Stored at Tel Aviv from fall 1961 until sold to Universal Sky Tours in February 1962 and in service with Euravia in April.
