Model 49-46-19 Constellation 42-94550

Delivered to USAF 4 August 1945. Leased to TWA for pilot training in the time between 10 June 1946 and 30 July 1946 as NX54212, FN548.  Returned to LAC and again used by USAF until conversion to model 049-46-26 by LAC and following sales to BOAC as G-AKCE 'Bedford' and in service by 29 April 1948. Converted to model 049D (October 53) and later to 049E (May 1953) - 65 seater all -Tourist Class version. Sold to Capital Airlines as N2741A FN 761 on 27 June 1955.
