Model 749-97-33 Constellation PH-TDC

22 October 1947 to KLM as PH-TDC 'Curacao', later converted to 749A. To Lockheed Aircraft Corporation as trade-in for Super Constellations. Delivered to Capital Airlines as N90607 FN 860 and delivered 18 April 1952. Sold to BOAC as G-ANUV on 4 July 1955, named 'Blantyre'. Sold via Babb Co. to Transocean Airlines January 1958 and delivered as N9830F on 8 January 1958.

Seen here in late 1958.

Stored at Oakland, CA during 1959, before selling to Korean National Airlines as HL102. In service by December 1959.

HL102 on the ramp at Kai Tak Airport, Hong Kong in 1960, Scott Henderson Collection.

Flew with Korean National Airlines until end of June 1962.

Stored and later scrapped at Amsterdam Schiphol 26 August 1966.

Bought from Korean National Airways in October 1962 and delivered Seoul to Woensdrecht 1 November 1962. Registered OE-IFE. This Connie was probably grounded at Djibouti for alleged gun-running in November 1963. Impounded at Amsterdam Schiphol from 1964 until broken up on 26 August 1966.
