Leased to South Pacific Air Lines 1 February 1960and delivered to Oakland, CA with TT: 20520 hours. Modified for over-ocean use and painted by LAS Oakland between 15 and 28 February 1960.

The South Pacific Air Lines Super Connie started a weekly Honolulu Bora Bora-Bora flight. The 2586 miles flight was the longest non-stop over-water sector flown on a regular basis by a straight CB-1 Super Constellation.
