Aeronaves de Mexico

In February 1957, two L049s were leased from Pan American to replace the DC-4s on the Mexico City-Guadalajara-Tijuana route. The leased Connies also operated the Mexico City-New York route before the Britannias took over in December 1957. Aeronaves purchased 3 L749As from Air India, which returned the L049s to Pan American for Panair do Brasil. By 1960 the remaining Connies had been sold, and Britannias had taken over the remaining routes previously flown by the Constellations.
