William Edde formed Edde Airlines as a non-scheduled carrier with one Douglas DC-3. Edde leased one L049 late in 1962, followed by a second of the same type by 1963. Edde used both Connies on domestic charter work and military contract flights. Edde ceased operations in 1966.
