Las Vegas Hacienda, or "Hacienda Hotel" as the company, was known for short, operated Magic Carpet tours from seven cities, mainly from the US West Coast but also from New York to Las Vegas on behalf of the Dunes Hotel in Las Vegas. Operations started with DC-3s and DC-4s in 1957. In 1959 a former TWA L049 Constellation was bought, and Hacienda Hotel bought another four L049 Connies between April and May 1961. In 1962 the CAB ordered the M&R Investment Co, owner of Hacienda Hotel, to cease the operations, as they operated a virtually scheduled service from the Los Angeles area to Las Vegas with the Constellations. Operations stopped in 1962, and the Connies were leased out to other operators.
